Luis Cañas Winery is a family winery dating from 1928, although the family has been dedicated to viticulture and winemaking for more than two centuries. However, it is in 1970 when Luis Cañas goes on the market selling bottled wine from the grower. As of this date, it is when it experiences a rise in commercialization and begins to develop what is today one of the leading wineries of Rioja Alavesa.

CATA's notes:Ruby red The nose is clean appearing balsamic notes and memories of fine woods. The entrance in the mouth is soft and the velvety and volume through the mouth where notes of red fruit (raspberry, cherry ...) appear. It has a pleasant ending where balsamic memories reappear.
